Your Exam
Your initial exam will take about one hour. Dr. Provines will ask about the reason for your visit, as well as your expectations and concerns. Then he’ll conduct a thorough examination to evaluate your periodontal oral health and including your medical history. Your gums and teeth and an oral cancer screening will be performed utilizing the ViziLite system. A panoramic digital X-ray will allow us to have detailed information to aid in an accurate diagnosis. We may also take photographs of your mouth so that we can see all the fine details of your teeth and gums. An introral camera is also available for visualizing more difficult areas.
Following your examination, your intraoral images and X-rays will be utilized to explain the findings and suggested therapies. He will present a personalized treatment plan and help you decide which options are right for you. Our front-office staff will schedule your next appointment before you leave.

As a courtesy, we will electronically file your dental insurance claim and maximize your benefits. Dr. Provines is a Premier provider for Delta Dental.
