Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After completing his undergraduate degree at Southern Illinois University, Dr. Provines achieved his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. He additionally received his Certificate in Periodontics from Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Following the completion of his formal education, he joined the United States navy and served as a dentist at the San Diego Naval Training Center before beginning his own private practice.

Dr. Provines’ commitment to advanced education and excellence in dentistry has earned him Fellowships with both the Academy of Osseointegration and the American Academy of Periodontology. He is also a member of the following organizations:
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Provines is the proud father of five grown children and a grandfather too. In his spare time, you can often find him playing golf, fly fishing, traveling, or indulging in winemaking.
